MAB 845 is equipped with a swivel base.
Swivel base is an adjustment device on BDS magnetic drilling machines, which helps the operator to place the machine "even under magnetic condition." The operator can move the machine 30° left or right and 20 mm backwards or forwards even when the magnet is activated.
This is useful when drilling several holes in the vicinity of each other or when drilling in horisontal or in a high position. Overheating protection: One of the very useful features of MAB 845 -specifically for a new operator- is the overheat protection. Due to overloading or improper handling of the machine during drilling, the machine may become overheated and the motor may be damaged due to overheating. BDS magnetic drilling machines protect the machine from overheating by switching off the motor when the sensors sense overheating, which prevents it from being damaged. After the motor has been switched off due to the overheating protection, run the machine on idle for 30 seconds to 1 minute without drilling. Run the motor for one minute and then start drilling again. This function increases the machine´s life and avoids accidents.
